How to Stay Fit

IS GETTING FIT DIFFICULT? NOT AT ALL!

Introduction

We are proud that you have finally decided to lose that extra fat of yours and get in shape. Staying fit and healthy has become a challenge for most people in the current era.

With all the junk food around us and the sedentary lifestyle we have opted, staying fit has become very difficult. If we see a fitter person than us, we compare ourselves with them. We get a sudden motivation of losing belly fat and getting six pack abs, and we start working for that too. But after 1 day of excessive exercise we lose hope and return to our normal routine.

This psychology has to change. Getting fit does not mean that you have to kill yourself by running 10 miles a day, or lift weight beyond your capacity. It actually means that first, you have to lose all the extra fat and when you get in desired shape, you have to maintain it. If you wish to get in good shape and feel good about yourself, here are some tips that you can follow.

1. Balanced Diet

Some people give up eating to lose weight. It might work, but it will make you weak. Your immune system, bones, muscle overall your body will become weak. So eat a balanced diet. However strong you are craving for sugar, stay away from sweets.

Don't even eat a single small candy as it will be as disastrous as a jar full of them. Go for healthier foods like fruits and vegetables. The fruits have natural sugars that provide you with the required amount of sugar and do not harm you.

Check your daily calorie intake and then try to control it. A normal person needs about 3000 calories a day to do all the necessary functions. If the calorie intake is less than that, the body will become weak. Taking a balanced diet will help you in getting fitter, not weaker. Decrease the amount of carbohydrates and fats from your diet and try to eat fibers food like green vegetables and fruits.

2. Exercise

You have to exercise daily if you wish to lose weight. To burn a greater amount of calories, you should try high intensity workouts. But as I said earlier, do not try to overdo it. It will only give you pain.

Start easy a day. If you exhaust after 10 min then return back home. Don't push yourself in doing something you cannot. Your stamina will increase on a daily basis if you continue the workout. Buy sports shoes online here.

Just a warning, your muscles might ache after working out in the beginning. But don't just give up because of that pain. It just means that your body is changing for the better.

Stay hydrated, stretch before and after your workout and take a high protein diet after every workout. Protein helps in building muscles, not fat.

3. Eat Portion meals

You should also not try to restrain yourself to eat one meal a day. This will cause you to gain weight and not lose it, because eating a single meal per day generally results in overeating.

Try to portion your meals daily, as a good metabolism comes from portioning meals. Apples, for example, does a good job at making the stomach feel full for up to 3 to 4 hours.

You should try to plan eating 5-6 times a day and setting smaller portions, rather than having three heavy meals. This gives a boost to your digestive system and you are able to work out more efficiently. Apples, bananas, oranges and green vegetables are really good for your body and they provide you with necessary energy with almost zero fats.

4. A Good Amount of Sleep

Getting a good night's sleep of 7-8 hours is necessary for a body.

If you exercise, eat a balanced diet but don't sleep well, your body will suffer. 7-8 hours of sleep will keep you going throughout the day, without feeling tired. It will also keep you fresh, positive and motivated for working out and becoming fit. A good quality pillow is must for a smooth and good sleep. Buy pillow online here.

Conclusion

All the balanced diet and exercise will only help you if you continue it for weeks. You just cannot expect to see results in a day or two. These types of things take time. It's easier to gain weight rather than lose it. The key for achieving your goal is to stay motivated. You have to believe in yourself. This is a popular saying that, "success comes to those who work hard with patience."
